At Passenger Stop, the travel store at the Kenilworth Mall in Towson, and at other travel stores, probably, you can get thin cloth ties to keep you cooler. The ties are filled with a gel that expands when it's immersed in water. You then tie the thing around your neck and your body temperature is reduced a number of degrees. The gel stays cool for hours. You can also tie one around your head like a sweat band and that cools your face and head. I wear them in the county school where I work when it gets really hot. The ties were designed for the tropics and are perfect for hot schools.
