House inspection was done last Saturday. Everything is good.
The mortgage I'm getting is pretty amazing. 3.8% with no PMI. But it takes a while. I still hope to move in during the first week of April with a pre-settlement rent agreement, though.
Otherwise, not much new. I've scaled heights of busy-ness and, wow, I'm getting home late every night. But it's all good. Baseball season is upon us.

Yay!!!!!!! Those of us who have been reading your blog for a long time are so happy that you're finally getting a new house. Well done.
3.8%?!!? Wow! No one deserves it more than you, and we're all so happy for you.
3.8%? Is that because you're a first-time home buyer? We're trying to refi right now and the best we can do is 5.25%.
I envy you!
CTG: It's because of this program that I bought into, called "Healthy Neighborhoods." I linked to it in my post. They're able to do the low rate because a lot of Baltimore businesses chipped in because they're trying to build up Baltimore's struggling neighborhoods. The funny thing is, though, that my house isn't even on one of these struggling blocks; however, it has been rehabbed by a non-profit dedicated to re-establishing neighborhoods, so it's eligible.
Thanks Jackie and Anon!
