With her tough, smart talk and from-the-outside view of the city, Jill Carter is my top pick to be the next mayor of Baltimore. This is pure theater, but I love it. I hope she has a chance. Otherwise, I'm going with Keiffer Mitchell, who likewise seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I just am not a huge fan of his record on City Council.
Pretty interesting news day today, though, with the forced resignation of Leonard Hamm. Long overdue, in my opinion, but a step in the right direction. Still, I hope that it is too little, too late for Sheila Dixon.

I'm basing my mayoral choice on color and sex. The darker and more feminine the candidate the more they worry about minority contracts and being compassionate to criminals. So far the candidate with the lightest skin tone and the biggest gonads appears to be Kieffer Mitchell, but if another one steps up to the plate I am willing to change up.
Obviously because old white males in our government have always been so trustworthy when it comes to pardoning criminals and sweetheart contracts. :-)
Cham, you are funny. I didn't even know Jill Carter was not white until recently. From what I've seen and heard, she's got much bigger "gonads" than Keiffer Mitchell who seems to me to be unsure of himself and afraid of his own shadow. I keep hearing Mitchell talk about the city's problems, but he's been there almost as long as Dixon. Jill Carter goes to the streets at night with te people and the crime. I bet you won't catch those other two chickadees out there. That's balls.
