They made it, and even brought my sister as a giant surprise. My dad said he needed help carrying some heavy luggage from the backseat, when all of a suddent my sister sprang up from a pile of blankets. I screamed. What a great surprise.
This is our first Thanksgiving together in five years.
The food was great. My mother said it was the first Thanksgiving in 30 years that she didn't have to cook herself. Their turkey breast looked tender, and my Tofurkey was incredible.
I polished off a whole bottle of shiraz and now I'm ready to go to sleep. My family are notorious for 5am Friday-after-Thanksgiving jaunts to the store, though, so the sleep might not be as long as I'd like it to be.

Yay! I'm proud of you, in an odd way, and what a wonderful thanksgiving surprise your parents brought with them. :) Next year we will have to try Tofurkey.
