I'd be fine if I never set my foot in another retail store again

So I picked today to take my first trip ever to Arundel Mills Mall.

It actually wasn't that bad, as Dad and I went to see Jarhead while sister and mom shopped. If the movie were satisfying, then it would be even better - as it was, it was a scattershot and episodic and nowhere close to what it seems like it could have been based on the performances and some pretty cool moments.

Long exhausting day that began before 6am and involved Ikea, Best Buy (pure hell), Dick's Sporting Goods, Target, the White Marsh mall, Fell's Point (lunch at Ze Mean Bean, shopping at Soundgarden, and beer at The Waterfront), and finally Arundel Mills. My total contribution to the national economy today? $8.25 for three pairs of shoelaces and $7.00 for three Ikea candles for my next house concert. My family's? Lots more. And I'm pretty sure my folks got me a $29 DVD player for school at Target.
