Done Fighting

Conflict with the father appears to be over. He called last night while I was carousing around the city, leaving a beautiful message that almost made me weep. He says he doesn't want to talk about money anymore with me. I'm still going to insist I pay him back for the loan he afforded me for student loans a few years ago, because it's important to me that I pay them back, but the phone call was much needed.
